Puerto Rico is an island full of fantastic food and gorgeous places. Each corner has its own character and uniqueness, and features locally produced ingredients. On the Road Dinner Series is our proposal to take food lovers to these amazing corners and have a unique dining experience carefully curated by El Pretexto’s team. This time, we collaborated with Para la Naturaleza to enjoy food in the incredible natural reserves it preserves.
Puerto Rican, Cayey-born, Michelin-starred Chef Jonathan Meléndez from Casa Mono in New York will be joined by James Beard Awards winner Chef Natalia Vallejo, chef-owner of Cocina al Fondo. An amazing duo that we love to work with and be fed by. Both Chefs share a deep love for the local ingredients, and we are extremely excited to have them both close this season's series.
The last experience will be on Sunday, May 24, at 3:00 p.m. at El Pretexto in Cayey. Both chefs will collaborate to prepare each dish with love and the flavorful, fresh ingredients that Puerto Rico produces. We will enjoy live music while we celebrate with sparkling wine, and then a gorgeous late lunch with an outstanding wine pairing by a Méndez Wine Selection Sommelier. We will all be seated at a shared long table in El Pretexto. The price is per person and includes food, wine pairing, filtered water, and service. To respect the event's logistics, changes in the menu can’t be made.
This event is for 18+ adults only. Pets and cigarette smoking are not permitted. We reserve the right to admission and permanence on the premises. Thanks for your consideration!

To ensure the quality of service, we won't be able to accept menu changes. Arriving on time is highly recommended. Late arrivals will enjoy the dishes that are pending service at the time of arrival. We thank you in advance for your consideration and understanding.
Our cancellation policy:
Purchase reimbursement will only occur if canceled 72 hours before the event. Why? By this time, we have already purchased all the food and drinks for the reserved spaces, and we are definitely counting on your presence. If something unexpected happens, we invite you to let us know and to check whether a family member or friend can purchase your spaces, as we will do our best to find someone to buy them for you, but we cannot guarantee it.
